form several pieces separately
and will combine on some se

smaller ensemble composed of
CCO members, will perform in
dependently as well.
The performance on Satur

in the First Christian Church at

The Sunday performance
will be June 8, 3:00 p.m. at

The Third Annual Spelling
Bee for Seniors is coming up
this Saturday, June 7, 2003 at
1:00 p.m. at the Senior Center
in Vernonia.
There is only one require
ment to enter the contest: You
must be at least 50 years of
age. You can sign up at the Se
nior Center but pre-registration
is not necessary. You can reg
ister at any time before the
event, which is free of charge.
As before, the format will be
a written test of 100 words. Af
ter each 25 words, there will be
a short break for refreshments.
We can’t promise an exciting
tie-breaker round, as in last
year's Bee, but it should be en-
tertaining. Spectators are also
welcome!
So, all you 50-and-over citi
zens, it's time to brush up on
your spelling and come to the
Senior Center on Saturday af
ternoon for the annual Spelling

fun time for all.
