Urban Growth Boundary Expansion that
was not acknowledged by the Oregon De­
partment of Land Conservation and Devel­
opment is scheduled before the Vernonia
City Council on April 7, 2003 at 6:45 PM in
the Council Chambers of City Hall, 1001
Bridge Street, Vernonia, Oregon. Public
Hearing on the Comprehensive Plan and
Map Amendments is governed by Oregon
Statewide Land Use Goals 2 & 14 and OAR
660-025. Staff reports are available to the
public at City Hall, and may be copied for a
nominal fee. Failure to raise an issue in a
hearing, in person or by letter or failure to
provide statements or evidence sufficient to
afford the decision-maker an opportunity to
respond to the issue precludes appeal to
the board based on that issue. Public testi­

A public meeting of the Budget Committee
of the Vernonia School District 47J, Colum­
bia County, State of Oregon, on the
budget tor the fiscal year July 1, 2003 to
June 30, 2004 will be held at Vernonia
School District Office, 475 Bridge Street,
Vernonia Oregon. The meeting will take
place on the 24th day of April, 2003 at 7
p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to re­
ceive the budget message.
A copy of the budget document may be in­
spected or obtained on or after April 24,
2003 at Vernonia School District Office be­
tween the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
This is a public meeting where deliberation
