The mission statement of the
Vernonia Booster Club is “FOR
THE KIDS." In the near future,
with revenues generated from
tournaments, it will be possible
to provide local youth with
sports at minimal cost. Booster
Club members believe that in
vesting time and energy in to
day’s youth will help forge a
solid society for tomorrow, and
that the youth of Vernonia are
worthy of support.
Just 10 hours per year from
every parent would generate
the manpower needed to run
these programs successfully.
Coaches, Assistant Coaches,
Equipment Managers and oth
er volunteers are needed to
make the programs work. Vol
unteers are also needed to
complete the plans for the con
cession stand. Plumbers, elec-
tricians, masons and laborers
are asked to attend the meeting
on February 12.
