Approximately 170 “Turtle" me
ters will be installed at Fish-
hawk Lake next month.
Hursch also reported on the
windstorms of December 14
and 27. He stated that the De
cember 27th storm caused the
most members out of service
for the longest time in the five
years he has worked for
WOEC. Outages started at
4.00 a.m. Friday, December 27,
and everyone was back on line
by midnight Saturday. He said
that WOEC crews worked
around the clock along with
three contract crews and did
“an excellent job in restoring
service to our customers."
General Manager Russell
Green reported that Bonneville
Power Administration miscalcu
lated line loss for the Mist trans
mission line. The estimated
benefit to WOEC should be ap
proximately 75,000 kilowatt-
hours annually.
The Board rescheduled its
regular February meeting to
Monday, Feb. 17, due to a con
flict with a statewide meeting.
