PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
The USDA-Natural Resources Conserva
tion Service (NRCS) in partnership with Co
lumbia Soil and Water Conservation District
(CSWCD) has scheduled the next local
work group meeting to be held January 10,
2003 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Colum
bia County OSU Cooperative Extension
Service meeting room. The Extension Ser
vice office is located at 505 North Columbia
River Highway in St. Helens, Oregon.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive in
put for the development of the fiscal year
2003 USDA EQIP (Environmental Quality
Incentives Program) in Columbia County.
The local work group will review and make
recommendations to NRCS regarding natu
ral resource priorities, application sscreen-
ing tools, cost share rates and methods of
eligible practices, and other EQIP program
development issues in Columbia County.
