Garden Club forming in Vernonia
It doesn’t have a name, yet, but organization of a gardem club
is well underway. Meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday
of the month in January and February, at the Museum in Vernon­

A Community Fun Night Dinner and Bingo will be held Satur­
day, Nov. 30, in Schlegel Hall at Sunset Park in Banks. Dinner will
be served from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Bingo will be from 7:00 to
9:00 p.m.
A delicious barbecued chicken dinner with baked potato,
coleslaw and beverages will be served.
This event is sponsored by FFA Alumni. Proceeds to benefit the
FFA Scholarship Fund.

The 79th Annual Banks Union Point Cemetery Turkey Dinner
and Holiday Bazaar will be held Saturday, December 7, in the
Banks Elementary School Gym and Cafeteria, 42350 NW Trellis
Way. Dinner will be served from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. and the bazaar
will be from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
All proceeds support the care and maintenance of the Banks
Union Point Cemetery.
