dents, will meet for three days
of leadership training and moti­
vation at St. Mary’s College in
Moraga, California, August 10
through 12.
During the summer when
students can head for basket­
ball camp, football camp,
cheerleader camp...or just
plain camping, hundreds of
motivated teens will take three
days of their summer vacation
time to attend a leadership
camp!
NTLP stresses that leader­
ship potential is found in all
young people. Academics,
community service and ex­
tracurricular activities are also
honored and an Award Cere­
mony recognizes high achiev­
ers with cash awards and
scholarships. Over 5,000 teens
have attended NTLP camps in
the last nine years and over
$100,000 in scholarships has
been distributed to deserving
teens.

ia was one of more than 500
students who were awarded
degrees from Pacific University
at this year’s commencement
ceremonies on May 19.
Thomas graduated with a
bachelor’s degree in Environ­
mental Biology.
