Officer Chris Snyder, a local
resident who has already com­
pleted work at the state Re­
serve Officer Academy. He will
now go to Monmouth to attend
the Police Academy.
Snyder and his wife, Julie
(Parrow), who graduated from
Vernonia High School, have
lived in Vernonia for four years.
They have two sons.
