Food Handlers class scheduled
Columbia County Sanitarian
Mark Edington will conduct a
food
handlers’ class on
Wednesday, March 28, at 3:30
p.m., at Fultano’s, 770 E. Co
lumbia River Hwy., Clatskanie.
Participants will study a
booklet, watch a film and there
will be a question and answer
time. The class will be approxi
mately 1-1/2 hours long.
Those who pass the food
handlers test will receive a food
handlers permit. Participants
must bring a pen or pencil to
complete the test. The fee for
taking the test is $10.
Booklets are available for
check-out at the Rainier, Ver
nonia or Clatskanie Public Li
braries. Booklets cannot be
mailed, but can be purchased
for $2 from Columbia County
Public Health, 2370 Gable
Road in St. Helens. Test ques
tions are formulated from ma
terial in the Food Handler’s
booklets.
