meeting slated
The first m eeting for this
y e a r’s V ernonia Friendship
Jam boree, Logging Show &
Cruise In, will be held Thurs­
day, February 3, at 7:00 p.m. at
the Country Kitchen. The 2000
Jamboree will be August 4-6.
The agenda includes elec­
tion of vice-president and trea­
surer, nominees for the Parade
Grand Marshall, and the Jam ­
boree Theme contest.
All groups and organizations
that plan to be involved in this
annual celebration are encour­
aged to attend so the Jam ­
boree Com m ittee can better
accommodate their needs.
Anyone else interested in
becoming involved is encour­
aged to attend and bring their
ideas to make this Jamboree

The Fair Board is also look­
ing for past Rodeo Court mem­
bers. Special events, which will
include all past court members,
will take place during the an­
