torium in St. H elens High
School, between July 23 and
August 1.
Set in ancient Rome, the
plot revolves around Pseudo-
lus, a slave who is trying to buy
his freedom from his master,
Hero. Hero is in love with Phil-
ia, a virgin who is waiting for
C aptain M iles G loriosus to
claim her, for she was sold to
him by Marcus Lycus, propri­
etor of the House of Pleasure.
O ther characters in the musical
farce include Senex, Domina,
Hysterium and Erronius.
