To the Editor.
As sponsors of the 1998 An

like to thank all of those people
who spent Saturday, Nov. 21st

A special thanks goes to
Vernonia Pteschool who donat
ed paper and use of their copy
machine to make flyers and
maps so that everyone could
be notified of the event.
Thank you also to everyone
who contributed food — the re
sponse was heartwarming and
greatly appreciated! it made
gathering food in the cold rain
well worth it!!
Thanks also to Sentry, the
Senior Center, Sunnyside Deli,
Vernonia Hardware and Mini
Mart for allowing us to place
barrels at these locations to
collect donated food. The food
drive continues until Dec. 6th
