The scope of the 5-m ile

paving, shoulder reconstruc
tion and mailbox support re
placement. The work is de
signed to improve roadway
conditions.
A unique paving material-
F-Mix -w ill be used to surface
the highway. The new asphalt
pavement improves visibility
by reducing road spray from
other vehicles and also low
ers the risk of hydroplaning.
During wet w eather, w ater
drains through the porous as
phalt and then to the sides of
the highway.
Motorists can expect 10 to
15 minute delays during site
preparation and initial paving
activities. Traffic will be con
trolled by flaggers and a pilot
ca r w ill g u id e m o to ris ts
through the work zone. Pa
ving activities and traffic de
lays will continue for approxi
mately seven weeks. Work is
scheduled betw een 7 a.m .
and 6 p.m. each day, Monday
