Track team has fun while working hard in practice and competition
Two weeks into the spring
sports season, weather has
plagued the Vernonia High

and made track practices dif
ficult.
In the first track meet of
the season, at Warrenton, the
L o gg er g irls team placed
third, barely losing second
place by half a point to War
renton.
Speaking on behalf of the

Young said “I thought we did
pretty good for the first meet.
Individual performances were
really good.”

wrote the script, a detective

pushed Humpty Dumpty off
the wall, with speaking parts
for each of the thirty-one stu-
tals.
The tic k e ts are $3 fo r
adults, $2 for students and
senior citizens; children under
four are free.
