way: Occupants of a large mo-
tor home parked on private
property are advised they’ve
been trespassed.
12:15 p.m., 400 block S. Holla-
day: A man and his vehicle are
informed they’ve been tres-
passed.
1:16 p.m., Forest Drive: EMS
call.
9:28 p.m., 11th and Necani-
cum: A disturbance is reported.

reported; police say someone
threw a large amount of wet
toilet paper against a wall. Pub-

strooms: Police say a restroom
was defaced with Sharpie pens
and paint. Public works is noti-

2:05 a.m., 10th and Necani-
cum: A man reported prowling
around a trailer tells police the
structure has been compro-
mised due to wind conditions
and he’s just attempting to se-
cure it.

Avenue F: A person is reported
sleeping on the porch.
2:36 p.m., 400 block N. Prom:
EMS call.
2:54 p.m., U.S. Highway 101
and Avenue I: EMS call follow-
ing motor vehicle accident.

about an abandoned motor

nue: Caller reports someone
illegally entered their car.

ness and asks police to tell
them to move along.

rized entry of a motor vehicle

police make contact with the
occupants and say they need
a licensed driver to move the

is taken for unauthorized entry

laday: A person is arrested and
charged with driving while in-
toxicated.

Eyewitnesses reported to Or-
egon State police April 2 at
4:55 p.m. on Sunset Beach
Lane and U.S. Highway 101
seeing the operator of a Mer-
cedes sedan illegally leave the
highway from Sunset Beach
Lane, causing the northbound
driver of a Chevy truck to
swerve to avoid hitting the
Mercedes; the swerving truck
in turn went into a southbound
lane, striking a Chevy Trailblaz-
er head-on. Two occupants of
the Trailblazer were transport-
ed to Columbia Memorial Hos-
pital as well as a passenger in
the Chevy truck. Both vehicles
were towed by Clatsop Tow-
ing. ODOT Incident Response
and the Warrenton fi re depart-
ment were on scene; Astoria
police located the Mercedes
and stopped the driver. Crimi-
nal citations were given to that
driver, a 63-year-old woman.
The Mercedes was impounded.

with injuries, U.S. Highway 101
and Pacifi c Way.
Driving under
the infl uence
March 11
Timothy Luke Perkins, 37, was
arrested April 4 at 1:09 a.m.,
charged with driving while un-
der the infl uence of intoxicants
and reckless driving. Troopers
responded to a report of a one-
car crash on U.S. Highway 101
near milepost 17. The driver
submitted to standardized fi eld
tests before being transported
to the hospital for evaluation;
at the hospital, he submitted
to blood sample testing. He
was given citations while at
the hospital and under medical
care. His car was towed to the
scene and he is scheduled to
appear in court June 7.
