PTO: Group is looking to establish new traditions
Continued from Page A1
Ridge PTO wants to host a
combo event featuring ele-
ments of both those favorites
sometime during the spring.
Even if that’s not feasible
this school year because
of COVID-19, Clyde said,
they will carry on the tra-
dition in future years. The
Thanksgiving Turkey Trot,
discount cards and cookie
dough fundraiser will also
be sustained.
The group also is look-
ing to establish new tradi-
tions for the Pacifi c Ridge
Puffi ns, and they welcome
parents, guardians and
community members to
contribute as they can.
“Anyone is welcome,”
Clyde said. “We love to
have different perspectives
and different volunteers. If
anybody has a great idea
for a fundraiser, we totally
welcome that.”
