They’ve been in business together for 15. Seaside natives, they both attended Astoria Beauty College, but not together, The two have had salons in other locations, but in 2017 they had the vision to open Pure Haven Salon and Spa in Seaside at 41 N. Hol- laday Drive. “We’re interested in more than hair and nails,” Weaver said. “We’re mov- ing in a mind, body, spirit direction.” As soon as you enter Pure Haven Salon and Spa, you’re instantly trans- ported. Seaside Signal During the upcoming 32nd annual Cannon Beach Stormy Weather Arts Fes- tival, on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 6 p.m., Cannon Beach Community Church pres- ents “Cascade Colors — a Jazz Piano and Nature Pho- toshow,” featuring nature photos by professional pho- tographer Thomas Robinson and jazz piano music by pia- nist David Robinson. This benefi t will be held at Cannon Beach Community Church, located at 132 E. Washington St. in downtown Cannon Beach, in support of Helping Hands Re-entry Centers with a free will dona- tion basket at the door. Cascade Colors will fea- ture an hour of nature photos captured by Thomas Robin- son, digitally presented on the big screen in the church sanctuary. Thomas Robin- son, a professional nature photographer who lives in Bend, grew up in Cannon Beach, capturing nature photos of Cannon Beach and the north Oregon coast over the past decades. Nature photos for “Cas- cade Colors” are arranged around the color wheel, beginning with white images, moving through cyan, blue, green, yellow, orange/brown, red, pink, and purple images, closing with dark blue pho- tos. Nature images are gath- ered from Cannon Beach, the Oregon Coast, central Cas- cades, national parks and the Alps.
