evelt: A female called the Sea-
side Police Department to say
her boyfriend had brought her
to Seaside and wouldn’t take
her home when she asked. The
boyfriend took a walk to calm
down after they argued; when
he returned, police spoke to
both parties who opted to
stay together for the evening.
Both parties were warned of
disorderly conduct.
10:45 a.m. 1300 block N. Wa-
hanna: Caller complains about
a neighbor’s motor oil washing
in the rain down an incline
driveway into the alley. A note
of the complaint is left for the
occupant of the property.
9:43 a.m. The Cove: A distur-
bance is reported.
9 a.m., Avenue G Bridge:
A boat that had become
unmoored from its dock and
was partially submerged was
reported. Coast Guard and
sheriff’s office are advised.
3 p.m., Police headquarters:
A third party requests police
conduct a welfare check
regarding unsafe living condi-
tions. Report is unfounded.
6:33 p.m., 500 block Avenue
U: A runaway is reported.

Two people fighting agree to
keep it down for the rest of
the night. The argument was
verbal only.
11:09 a.m., N. Holladay: A
person is arrested and charged
for driving under the influence
of alcohol.
1:55 p.m., Wahanna and Coo-
per: A person is arrested and
charged for driving under the
influence of alcohol.

Seaside Signal
A Warrenton woman was
flown to Portland with critical
injuries on Friday, Dec. 1, after
her car crossed the center line
and struck a southbound Point
bus head-on. Bus passengers
suffered minor injuries.
At approximately 8:50
a.m., Oregon State Police re-
sponded to a report of a seri-
ous injury crash on Highway
101 near milepost 16.
Preliminary investigation
revealed that a black 2002
Audi A4, operated by Lac-
ey Rachelle Hardman, 29,
of Warrenton, was traveling
northbound on Highway 101
near milepost 16, when the
Audi crossed the center line.
The bus, operated by
Randal Scott Redford, 59,
of Eugene was carrying four
passengers, who all sustained
minor injuries.
Hardman was extricated
from her vehicle by Gearhart
and Seaside Fire Department
and transported by air ambu-
lance to Legacy Emmanuel
Hospital.
Highway 101 was closed
for approximately four hours,
with a detour in place.
4:54 p.m. and 7:22 p.m., 500
block Avenue U: A runaway is
reported.

11:41 a.m., Seaside Provi-
dence Hospital: Police respond
to a report of a disturbance
between two parties who are
inside the hospital. They agree
to remain civil while they are in
the hospital.
3:52 p.m., 1500 S. Roosevelt:
An intoxicated person who
was asked to leave the shelter
is trespassed.
Nov. 19
3:14 a.m., Seaside Library: A
person sleeping in the door-
way is advised they cannot
sleep there.
4:55 p.m., Multiple evidence
displays of criminal mischief
are reported on Broadway, N.
Columbia and N. Edgewood.
7:07 p.m., Seltzer Park: Crimi-
nal mischief is reported.
7:21 p.m., 1900 block N. Roos-
evelt: A sex crime is reported.
5:21 a.m., 200 block N. Holla-
day: Police respond to a report
of a man screaming he wants
to die. The man told police
he was just having a rough
week and had no intention of
self-harm. He was warned of
disorderly conduct.
10:57 p.m., 900 block Avenue
S: A man reported to be
screaming in his apartment
told police he was having per-
sonal issues. He was warned to
keep it down or receive a sum-
mons for disorderly conduct.
11:18 a.m., police headquar-
ters: A person comes in to
register as a sex offender.
2:14 p.m., 12th and Roosevelt:
Police say woman who said she
had been assaulted wasn’t. She
was intoxicated.
11:45 a.m., police headquar-
ters. Another person comes in
to register as a sex offender.

3:32 p.m., 1300 block N. Holla-
day: Anonymous complainant
requests welfare check on a
subject who had sent suicidal
texts the previous evening.
Officers contact subject who
said they are fine and not going
to self-harm.
10:07 p.m. 1000 block S.
Columbia: Police and medical
personnel respond to a report
of an overdose. The subject
was transported to Providence
Seaside Hospital by Medix.

12:23 a.m., N. Wahanna: Caller
reports a woman is knocking
at a neighbor’s door. Police re-
sponding are unable to locate
the female described.
12:09 a.m. 1300 block Second
Avenue: An intoxicated person
sleeping it off in their car is
contacted by police following
a report of a suspicious vehicle
parked in the area. A friend the
person is visiting agrees to let
the person spend the night at
their residence.
4 p.m., police headquarters: A
person came in to register as a
sex offender.
4:36 p.m. police headquarters:
A person came in for their
annual sex offender registry.
5:43 p.m., 12th and Franklin:
Police respond to a welfare
check regarding an adult
hanging around wearing a
child’s Halloween mask. Offi-
cers were able to make contact
with subject later and deter-
mined everything to be OK.
Nov. 22
2:18 a.m., N. Roosevelt: Police
contact two individuals stand-
ing in the doorway of a closed
business. One said he was an
employee and had just closed
up; the other person said they
were just trying to get out of
the rain. The employee told
the officer he was fine with
the other person being on the

Avenue: Police lend assistance
getting a person getting out of
a hyperbaric chamber.
2:10 p.m., 1900 block N. Holla-
day: Police respond to a report
of people too close to elk. Po-
lice observe the observers and
don’t think they are too close.
8:12 p.m., Avenue U: A run-
away is reported.
8:33 p.m. Tillamook Head:
Police respond to a welfare
check on a person who texted
a friend that they were suicidal
and in possession of a gun.
Police locate the individual who
says they are ok and the gun is
a BB gun.

9:25 a.m., 700 block S. Holla-
day: Police respond to a report
of a person attempting to pry
their way into an apartment.
Officers determine the person
2:43 a.m., 900 S. Holladay: An
assault in the fourth degree is
reported. There are additional
charges of harassment and
strangulation.
8:24 p.m., 2300 block Beach
Drive: A found purse is turned
in to the police department.
Nov. 26
8:25 a.m., 400 block Ninth
Avenue: A man who told police
his girlfriend stole his car and
drove it back to Portland after
the couple argued said he had
no transportation home. After
following up with the Clatsop
County deputy district attor-
ney , the matter was deter-
mined to be civil in nature and
not a police matter.

2:14 a.m., The Cove: Subjects
are warned of unlawful lodging.
12:36 p.m., 1900 block N. Hol-
laday: Criminal mischief in the
second degree was reported.
8:42 p.m., S. Columbia: Caller
reports a physical disturbance
is about to occur. Police en-
counter subjects in a parking
lot and warn them of disorderly
conduct.
10:46 p.m., 900 block Ocean-
way: A person who intention-
ally overdosed on prescription
medication was transported to
the hospital by Medix.
Nov. 28
12:01 a.m., Seaside area: Police
receive information about a
possibly suicidal female headed
to Seaside with the intention
of self-harm. The woman is
located in Cannon Beach by the
Cannon Beach Police Depart-
ment.
