CONGRATULATIONS
the awards ceremony was changed
to every two years.
… to the 2015 inductees to the
Seaside High School Hall Of Fame;
thank you for being a person
our kids can look up to and the
community as a whole can be
proud to call one of their own.
The Seaside Hall of Fame was
started in 2001. A group of teachers,
coaches got involved with this
and wanted to honor people who
had graduated from Seaside High
School and had done great things at
the high school or had gone on and
done great things in their careers or
people who have supported kids
from the community.
Founders wanted hall of fame to be
across the board, not just an athletic
hall of fame. Awards were presented
annually until 2011, at which time

hall of fame moving on over the

The hall of fame gives out two

have qualities similar to one of our
famous inductees, Bob Mor, who
gave his time, and eff orts to the
community of Seaside.
The banquet is Saturday, Sept. 26,
at 6 p.m. at the Seaside High School
cafeteria. We will be inducting seven
individuals, two teams, two businesses
and city awards will be given.
Numerous Seaside High
School students over the years
distinguished
themselves,
both during high school and
after graduation. The mission
of the Seaside High School
Hall of Fame Selection Com-
mittee is to identify those
alumni and ensure they are
celebrated for years to come.

They were undefeated
during the track season
except for a loss to
the Stayton team. The
Seaside girls claimed

Another record was set
that year when both

Recognition of KSWB
Seaside Outlets
KSWB has long been the voice of the Mighty Gulls. KSWB has been broadcasting
since 1967, and its tradition was to bring the community all the information about
activities in Seaside School District #10 and broadcast games in such sports as
football, basketball, soccer, baseball and softball. Ken Karge, who was assisted
by Bob Dutton when doing games, was the long time voice of the Gulls and did a
tremendous job in his support of student-athletes.
John Chapman and his many guest announcers have been calling games for the
last 20 plus years. He has done fundraisers, coached teams helped with the booster
club and has been such a vital part of making Seaside activities a great success!
Seaside Outlets has been a proud member of
the Seaside community for almost 20 years. In that
time, we have actively and enthusiastically tried to
give back to the community through our sponsorship
of various school teams, programs, community
activities, individual/team fund raisers, and fi nancial
support. We are thankful to all of you who visit our
center and grateful to be a part of this community.
We are looking forward to the next 20 years together!
