Officer responded and transported child home. 2:34 a.m., 2400 block of U.S. Highway 101: 911 caller reporting someone trying to kill themselves. He then said it was by driving errat- ically. Officers responded to the area and spoke with residents who heard nothing. No issue observed. 2:16 p.m., North Roosevelt Drive: Officer responded to report of aggressive female. Female left prior to officer arrival. 3:02 p.m., 400 block of South Roosevelt Drive: Manager of store reporting persons possibly camping in their vehicle and trash strewn about. Officer contacted subjects and advised of complaint and city ordinance regarding unlawful lodging. R.J. Two-car wreck sends three to hospital A two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 101 in Seaside Wednesday sent three people to the hospital, ac- cording to Chris Dugan of Seaside Fire and Rescue. One car was Àipped on its side. Police responded to the crash at 2:41 p.m. The cause is still to be de- termined. Seaside Police are handling the investigation and declined to re- lease information on the condition of the drivers and passengers in the cars. POLICE BRIEFS Search leads to three arrests Three people were ar- rested on drug-related charges after a search war- rant was served at a prop- erty in Seaside. On Saturday, Aug. 22, the Clatsop County Inter- agency Narcotic Team and detectives with the Seaside Police Department served a search warrant for drugs and stolen property at 1605 N. Wahanna Road. According to a news release from the Clatsop County Sheriff¶s Of¿ce, the warrant was obtained after deputies and Seaside of¿cers responded to sev- eral calls for service about squatting and drug-related activity at the residence, as well as numerous com- plaints from neighbors. During the course of those responses, individuals were arrested for drug-re- charged with delivery and possession of heroin and methamphetamine. Fol- lowing the arrest, detec- tives obtained and served another search warrant on Moyer’s vehicle. Vicky Renea Moyer William Berkley Waddell lated offenses and out- standing warrants. During the search Sat- urday, of¿cers arrested Logan Douglas Holt, 27, for two outstanding arrest warrants and delivery and possession of metham- phetamine. The evidence gave detectives probable cause to arrest two other suspects Monday, Aug. 24. Vicky Renea Moyer, 43, was arrested for delivery and possession of heroin, possession of prescription amphetamine tablets and possession of ecstasy tab- lets. William Berkley Wad- dell, 46, was arrested and Burnham pleads guilty The Sea- side man who tried escaping last month from Clat- sop County Jail while in custo- Kevin Michael Burnham dy for an attempted murder charge from a hammer attack has plead- ed guilty. Kevin Michael Burnham, 25, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of second-degree rob- bery and first-degree at- tempted escape. Burnham could face about six years in prison for the robbery charge and another two years for the attempt- ed escape. A sentencing hearing is scheduled next month in Clatsop Coun- ty Circuit Court. Burn- ham was arrested with Joshua Lee Fitch, 23, of Longview, Wash., in Seaside in February af- ter an alleged hammer attack. While in custody on $250,000 bail, Burn- ham and another inmate, Anthony Craig Osborne, attempted to escape from Clatsop County Jail. 9:11 p.m., 700 block of Beach Drive: 911 caller reported distur- bance. Officers responded. Distur- bance was not physical. Subject was warned about behavior and non-criminal detox. 10:02 p.m., 700 block of South Wahanna Road: Providence Seaside Hospital called wishing to have an intoxicated subject re- moved from premise. Person was trespassed until he sobered up. 4:32 p.m., 400 block of North Prom: Officers assisted with 911 medical call on the beach. Aug. 17 11:18 a.m., 300 block of Eighth Avenue: Caller reported neighbors’ dogs barking all the time. Officers made contact with owner and advised the issue resolved. 3:34 p.m., 2100 block of South Franklin Street: 911 caller reported hit and run to building. Officer responded, and there was no damage to the building. 8:07 p.m., 1100 block of Broad- way: Officer responded to report of trespass violation. Upon contact, subject was trespassed from premises. Aug. 18 9:57 a.m., 100 block of Broad- way: Report of a lost child, Officer responded and reunited child with parent. Aug. 15 5:31 p.m., 1600 block of Spruce Drive: Officers responded to 911 call and assisted on scene of vehicle over embankment with child inside. 5:50 p.m., 2400 block of South Roosevelt Drive: Caller report- ing person on seated walker in roadway. Officer responded and advised subject was waiting for bus, he was advised to move back from the fog line, which he did. 6:05 p.m., North Downing Street: Officers responded to report of subject playing with lighter fluid near business. Officers advised them to clean up belongings and of the burn ban. 10:26 p.m., 300 block of North Prom: Officer responded to report of fireworks on the beach. Upon officer arrival, fireworks confiscated and citations issued. 11:15 p.m., 300 block of Beach Street: Caller reported disturbance. Officers responded. Argument was verbal in nature, fueled by alcohol. Subject warned about future contacts. Aug. 16 1 a.m., 300 block of North Prom: 911 caller reported five men at the door, trying to take his 16-year-old daughter. Officers responded. 9:02 p.m., 900 block of South Irvine Place: Officer checked on fire to make sure it was a recreational fire. Officer advised all was fine. Aug. 19 12:51 a.m., 400 block of South Franklin Street: Suspicious 911 hang-up call. Upon officer arrival, disturbance verbal in nature. Caller wished to have other person trespassed. 3:46 a.m., 700 block of South Wahanna Road: Providence Seaside Hospital requested subject be removed from the property.
