Ducky Derby brings in big bills for Seaside Kids The eighth-annual Ducky Derby, sponsored by Clatsop Community Bank and KCRX 102.3 FM, was held June 13 at Quatat Park in Seaside. The event raised more than $4,000 for Seaside Kids Inc. this year, and has raised about $30,000 IRUWKHQRQSUR¿WDWKOHWLF program since Clatsop Community Bank began sponsoring the event in 2009. In addition to being the event’s title spon- sor, the bank award- ed the grand prize of a $500 savings account to the Santos family, the owners of this year’s winning duck. Other prizes included an iPad Mini, Samsung Blu Ray player, family passes to the Seaside Aquarium, JLIW FHUWL¿FDWHV WR ORFDO restaurants and more.
