It appears that James Ingraham, father of the man who did the shooting, has a contract for clearing the sagebrush off the land out at Maney’s old camp, and that the Greeks he has employed there are sleeping tn the old cabins owned by Ogden. There has been some sort of i quarrel between the parties previous ly, Ogden complaining that Ingraham stayed up too late and made too much noise getting to bed. This morning Ingraham and his son went over to move a stove in one of the buildings. Ogden objected, and a fist fight ensued in which the Ogdens got the worst of it. They both ran to the house and got their guns. The father apparently was unable to get the shell into his. but the son fired, shooting at Ogden as he was entering the cabin.
