A Worvdarful Dog.
I ran a news staivl at Tort Jervis,
If. Y. I owned a common shepherd
dog which waa a very Intelligent aui
rnal and wae of great asalstanca to

ning acroas the street with paper* In

much attention, and he got me many
new customer*, fur every body liked
him, be waa such a bualueee dog.
I waa sick one day and not able to
aell my papers My dog came In my
room where I lay in bed. He fumbled
around In my punt» pocket* mid took
the keys to my new* atand nud ran
out of the house, and the first thing I
knew he had the newxpapcr stand
opened up and doing biialiieaa
lie was very clever In muring
change, changing five and ten dollar
bills without a single mistake, work­
ing the rush register with bis paws,
and everything ran smoothly until 1

temper entirely, and I was forced (
