The squad participated in the na tional tournament in Kansas City, Mo., but was eliminated by Valparaiso, Ind. Riney played semi-pro ball for Monmouth Townies in the Polk County league during school vacations. At Oregon Normal Anthol majored in physical education and teaching. At present he teaching at Altamont Junior high and plans to enter Oregon State this fall for further study In agricultural education and extension service.
