US naval reserve. Dr. Bridge
is a well known Portland den
tlst and one of the best known
golfers In the state.

ath Falls this past weekend at

Daughters. Cannon was elected

spent Monday in Klamath Fulls
conferring with C. C. Jenkins,
t il club agent. Tuesday Allen
plans to continue to Lakeview
to visit the Lake county agent
and from there will go to the
office of the Jackson county
agent. Allen will be unable to
attend the spring fair here this
weekend ai in past years.
Purse Stolen E. A. Shulmlre,
28SS Blsbee street, appeared at
the city police department Mon
day morning and reported the
theft of his alligator leather wal
let containing 137, a social se
curity card, and driver's license.
Shulmiro said he laid the wallet
on the car seat fur a few mo
ments.

G .Vickroy and son and daugh
ter of San Francisco, who have
been visiting her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. U. S. Ragland of Mo
doc Point, returned to their
home last Sunday. They were
hero a month. Mr. Vickroy
drove up In the family car for
them.
Benefit Bridge Party A bene
fit bridge party will be given
by the social club of the Cas
cade Crest chapter, OES, Chllo-
quln, at the Masonic hall In Chil
oquin, Wednesday, April 23, at
8 p. m. Biidge and pinochle
will be played. Members of the
Eastern Star and their friends

To Vancouver Otis M. Mots-
krr, member of the city police
department, has been called to
Vancouver, Wash., where he will
serve with the Bonneville Power
Projects Guards. Metsker will
be stationed at the Vancouver
ampere elation and will serve a
six months' probation period.

Purse Lost Everett Starke

city police he laid his purse
down in a local department store
Saturday and when ha started
to look for It, tha purse was
gone along with t IS in cash and
his social security card.

here from her home in Rose
burg, a guest of her mother, Mrs
E. L. Elliott of Lincoln street.

Attends Funeral Mrs. D. P.
O'Leary left the city Sunday
night to attend the funeral of
her brother, Frank Kreutzen, In
Richmond, Calif. She will re
turn at the end of the week.

zel Baker and Mrs. Helen Dur
kee and J. C. Miller motored
to Crater lake and returned
Sunday morning.
Eagles Auxiliary The Eagles
auxiliary will hold a special
meeting Tuesday at 7:30 p. m.
In the Eagles hall. All mem
bers and the drum corps and
drill tram are requested to be
present for reorganization of
the drum corps.

Moose Meeting Initiation
and installation of officers of
the Moose lodge was to take
place Monday night at the KC
hall. Ordinarily, the meetings

gelist, is holding services at the
Methodist church at Chiloquin
for the next two weeks. Rev.
Rayburn conducted services at
the First Presbyterian church
in Klamath Falls last fall and
also conducted union services
here two years ago. Rev. Lee
W. Mooney. pastor of the Chilo
quin church. Invited the public
to attend the services. Bible
study classes will be conducted
in . the . afternoons. . Tuesday
through Friday, for the dura
tion of the services.
