went for the doctor when for mar
president Herbert Hoover was
born, died here at his home last
night He was 81 years old
and prior to his retirement sev
eral years ago, was a furniture
salesman.
Mr. King attended school at
West Branch, la., and one of
his school mstes was Jesse Hoo
ver, father of the former presi
dent. He later worked In the
Hoover blacksmith shop and
stayed at the Hoover home.
