Elinor Smith, Flapper pilot of
Freeport, L. 1., who remained up
slightly more than 13 hours iu a
plane of less than 90 horsepower.
Challenge "Question Mark"
The second endurance attempt
in progress today was that of
Reg Robbins and Jim Kelly, who
are seeking the record of more
than 150 hours established last
winter by the army plane "Ques
tion Mark." They took off at
F&rt Worth, Tex., at 11:33 a. m.
Sunday and are being refueled nt
regular Intervals by another
plane.
