of Hilt Military Academy of
Portland, according to word re-,

Stex Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Claude Davis Is playing quar
terback and Raymond Paddock

Cast Absent Vote
Mls Betty Ramshy, popular
Klamath Falls girl, who has
been a p e n d I n g the summer
months at the Klamath Junction
with her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth'
Ramshy will have the distinc
tion of casting the first vote In
Jackson county In tbe presiden
tial election of next mouth. Ar
rangements were completed yes
terday at the county clerk's
office in the valley city for the
casting of an absentee vote.
Miss Ramsby is leavinc this
wook-nnd for New York City to
resume her Bttitly ot music.
As .yet no ballots have been
printed in tha valley, however
one will be sent to Miss Ramsby
at soon as they are completed,
after which alio will send the
ballot back to the county clerk's
offlro fully made out.
Thls will be the first volo
ever cast by Miss Ilumsby who
recently reached the age of 21.
