Another evidence of aucceaaful
fruit growing in Klamath county'
may be rcen In the windows of,
the Jack Slater Investment com-j
pany oil South Seventh street.,
where threw largo red apples as
large as cantaloupes are on dis
play. Theno apples were grown In
the orchard' of the Slater ranch,
which is located at the Junction
of the Merrill and O'ene high
ways. They are of the Wealthy
variety, which is one of the few
klnda of applea being grown In
the large or"hard. Slater states
he baa bad a good crop thia year,
harvesting about 175 boxes. I
