rails, and two cars turned com
pletely over when tbe afternoon

the rails, two ot them turning

The engine stayed on the track,
and came on Into Klamath Falls,
returning with a wrecking crew,
which at an early hour this
morning waa engaged In getting
tbe cars back on the track and
repairing the damaged roadbed.
Tbe train consisted of 20 cars
of loga and a caboose.

Kaser, were charged with first
degree murder ot the former's
husband. John I. Glab, wealthy
Chicago druggist, in a complaint
Issued by the district attorney's
office late today.
The case will not be taken be
fore the grand Jury, deputy, dis
trict attorney Clifford Thorns
announced. He said the women
would probably be arraigned to
morrow and that Immediate trial
would be sought.
The action came atter a coro
ner's Jury hsd failed to pene
trate tbe mystery surrounding the
slaying of Grab as he stepped
into his automobile at his Vsu
Nuys borne late Monday night.
After a brief consideration of
evidence, the Jury found that he
died ot a gunshot wound Inflicted
by "parties unknown.
Suspicion waa first levelled at
Mrs. Glab when a neighbor, Mrs.
J. Goodrich, told officers she
saw a "woman in white" leave

KINGS BAY, Spitzenbergen, June 30. (UP) General
Umberto Nobile and five of the crew of the lost dirigible
Italia, were found on an ice floe today by Major Mad
dalena, Italian aviator. He dropped them guns, ammu
nition, food, and cigarettes, while the castaways danced
joyfully about .their desolate encampment Maddalena
was unable to make a landing.
This first relief for the Italian explorers came 26
days after their dirigible, returning from flight over
the North Pole, and weighted with ice, suddenly des
cended, smashed the gondola in which Nobile and eight
of his crew were riding, and carried the remainder in '
the unmanageable baloon northward before a gale.

production of crude oil for e
period ot tea years. The deal
was at current posted market
price and Included a contract for
the entire output ot caalnghead
gasoline. .
In addition to the Toting, or
"A" stock, Richfield acquired a
substantial block ot Pan-American
"B" shares, the announce
ment aald. In the near future
Richfield will submit a proposal
for exchange of lta sharea for
the balance ot Pan-American
'B.'
Richfield also purchased the
physical - properties. Including
marine terminal and distributing
facilities, ot tbe Pacific Petrol
eum. Products company on San
Francsco bay.
The transaction resulted In the
retirement of Petroleum Securi
