ored the formation of an ordinance
calling for the prorating of an
overcharge . on Pacific Terrace and
KIdorado assessments, created when
bonds amounting to more than the
asements on the property, were
sold.
Property holder In the district
refuned to pay any more aeM
ment until credited with difference
between the former bonds nd as
sessments. It waa revealed at the
meetlug. The overcharge , will he
prorated among those who paid the
money in. when the ordinance Is
passed at Its third reading.
Following authorization by the
council, some action will be taken
at once by the street committee to
stop speeding on Fast Main street,
especially In the vicinity of the
Mills school. A complaint against
the manner In - which drivers are
said to be disregarding the 12-mlle
speed limit past the school, was
entered by the street commissioner.
