Following the approval of the
past month's hills, the council

ed sometime ago by John Whitmer.

Among the petitions read and
refererred to various committees
was one asking for a street light on
corner of Front and narrow streets

Eleventh. Operation permits were
granted to the Loggers' Card Room

White Pelican hotel, left todny
for a two weeks' motor trip which
will take him to Jerome. Idaho,
tor visit with his parents. He
will be accompanied .'by lrs. Hup
kins, and before returning expects
to spend a short time in Salt Lake
City. To make the trip more com
fortably and without fear of pos
sible car trouble, Hopkins purchas
ed a new automobile.

Klamath county's agricultural and
stock raining possibilities." Hop
kins declared. Paul Smith, from
