FANS ORGANIZE
SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 19. One
of the reasons why the California
Radio Listeners' - league has been
organised is because local radio fant
who belong to the organisation are
committed to observing the silent
hours during Radio Week in Janu

p. m every day during the week ot
January 24 Is to enable American
listeners to hear the European sta
Hons in the international testa to be
made at the time. It Is understood
that the local Radio Trade assoct
tion is opposed to observing the si
lent hour each day for a week oft
the ground that the attempts to get
European stations would only result
In diaappolntment. A Urge) number
of owners of radio ' sets, however,
want to experience the Joy of trying
to get anything ao far away as
Europe. Headquarters of the league
are in the Monadnock building. 681
