Construction Through
Klamath's Mts
During the IS 25 session, the for
est service was exceptionally sue-1
cessful in its construction work in
and near the t'rater national forest,
according to Forest Supervisor Kan
k!n. Work on four mountain roads are
practically completed, while approx
imately 64 miles of trail were fin
ished. In speaking of the road and
trail work. Supervisor Rankin re
marked that although the roads
were primarily built for forest pro
tection and for opening Interior for
est regions, they are also of value
to the hunter, the camper and
settler.
Six miles of road between Apple
gate river and Steamboat ranch were
built and a new road around the
foot of Manianita hill in the Apple
gate district eliminated a steep and
narrow grade.

A road from Fish lake ending in
the vicinity of Four Bit creek was

Notice is hereby given that a bond
election is called to be held at var
ious school houses in Klamath
County School District on the 23d
day of December, 1925, between
the hours of two o'clock p. m.
and seven o'clock p. m., for the
purpc-ae of voting upon the ques
tion of contracting a bonded indebt
edness of $75.010 for the purpose
of building school houses, addi
tional school rooms, purchase of
equipment, all a a set forth In
notices posted ou each school
house doftr.
Polls 'H1 open at two o'clock
and close at seven o'clock p. m.
A legal voter is one who is a
citizen, ha resided for a time of
'.'Jy days in the district, and has
property listed upon the last assess
ment roll of the cc.-unty school dis
trict. Head3 of families having
children of school age may vote
without property qualification.
This bond issue of $75,000 will
be carried by entire valuation of
county school district which approx
imates $20,000,000.
A voter of the county school dis
trict may cast his ballot at any
of the polling places in the dis
trict, and not necessarily in his own
sub-district.
The regular legal notices, show
ing allocation of all funds are post
ed on door of each school house
in which school is now being held.
