the Fremont national forest. Ac
cording to tbe Silver Lake Leader,
about 700 bead of horses and mules
have been rounded up, and some
thing like 100 of these will be sold
by their owner, to the highest bid?
der, ln the near future. Of coarse
most will go as "chicken feed," but
there are a number that are atlll
useful. The main Idea 1. to clean
up old. crippled and underaixed ani
mals, and thus cut tbe number to
make room tor more cattle and
sheep. Tbe boy. are still riding at
present on the desert and likely will
bring in as many more. According
to K. C. Buick, secretary of tbe as
sociation, the sale will be beld about
the middle of December.
