(United News) The bodies of tv.-o
white men and one missing negro
were all that remained to be re
covered Friday night from the Over
ton mine, where a gas explosion
Thursday killed S3 or 53 men.
Rescue workers were trying to res
cue the two bodies, which were sup
posed to bo bnrled beneath tons of
debris.
Fifty bodies had been brought out
have not the financial backing of the
