John W. Langley. cf Kentucky, who
was sentenced to two years in the
penitentiary for conspiracy to vio
late the Volstead act.
The investigation was authorlied
in a resolution presented by Repre
sentative Burton of Ohio, who was
chairman ot a special committee
which investigated the charges
against Langley two years ago.
LThe resolution was passed unani
mously.
Members of the committee are:
Burton. Purnell of Indiana and
Michener, Michigan, republican and
Wingo, Arkansas and Moore. Vir
ginia, democrats.
The committee was ordered to
report back to the house. Langley
Is now at his home In PIkesville.
Ky., pending appeal ot his case
to the supreme court here.
