Aged Resident Dies
Result of Accident
Falling 15 feet to tho ground
from a raised scaffolding on Sat
urday attornoc-n, William Michael
Swartisfager, aged 83, died from
Internal injuries and crushed ribs
at 9 o'clock Sunday night. Swartzs
fager resided at 2432 White avenue.
Injuries which later proved fatal
to the aged man occurred when
Swartisfager was building a small
house on White avenue. The scaf
folding proved Insecure and the
man fell heavily to the ground.
He Is survived by three child
ren, C. G. Swartzsfager of Ashland. ;
J. W. Swartisfager of Klamath
Falls and Mrs. Fannie Matney of
Ruch. Jackson county. The re
mains will be shipped today to
Jacksonville, where funeral services
will be held and interment made in
the family plot.

lis, where von Bergen will enter
Oregon Agricultural college for the
winter months. Drill will return to
Klamath Falls to spend the winter.
Von Bergen spent the summer in
the city, and has of late been play
ing In Galloway's orchestra. He is
a member of Theta Chi on the O.
