Carl Magee, editor of the New
Mexico State Tribune at Albuquer
que, was arraigned In Juntice court
hero Friday, pleaded not guilty
to a charge of murder and was re
leased on 110,000 bond.
Magee waived preliminary hear
ing and was bound over to district
court of San Mlguo county. The
case Is oxpectcd to be called (or
trial during the December docket.
The charges against Magee grew
out of the fatal shooting of John
B. Lasslter, a state" employe, who

who had knocked him to tho floor
