Klamath county officers yesterday
afternoon. Caid, accused of at
tacking Harry Munson, an employe
of the Forest Lumber company,
walked into the sheriff's office and
gave himself up. i
Officers gave Caid the beneit of
. the doubt. They expressed the be
lief that he Is "on the square." !
Caid will be arraigned In Justice!
court next Thursday. The nature!
of his plea was not indicated.
Caid is charged with assault wlthj
a dangerous weapon on Munson. It;
was alleged that he struck down,
Munson following an argument. I

tion have not been made public.
Following the fight, It was said,
both men were discharged. - .
Officials at the Klamath Valley
hospital last night said that Mun
son "Is getting along very well."

Mrs. Bowers Leaves Klamath
Mrs. O. D. Bcwers, mother of Mrs.
Milton Smith and Mrs. E. T. Glvan,
returned to her home yesterday,
after visiting for the past summer
