NEW YORK, Aug. 11. (United News) Tex Rickard
has tangled traffic among the contenders on the road to the j
world championship heavyweight title. While Floyd Fitz-'

this fall. . J
Although Jack Kearns, Dempsey's manager, arrived in
town Tuesday morning, Paddy Mullins, who does the legal
business for Harry Wills, will be unable to negotiate with him
before Friday, when Kearns is expected to appear before the!
New York athletic commission and try to make peace with'
that body. Kearns is banned by the commission at present,!
and Dempsey, according to the commission, just don't exist.
