meeting of the Women's Library
club will be held Friday afternoon
at 2:30 p. m. in the club rooms, ac

yesterday afternoon. Mra. Fred'

m.ittce in charge of the entertain
ment for the afternoon. The an
nual report of the officers of the
club will be given at this time, and
tea will be served by the committee
in charge. The members of the club
are asked to bring their needlework
as the afternoon will be devoted to
matters of a social nature.

a community club at Merrill was
taken up last night at the railroad
mass meeting, the following tem
porary officers of he organization
being unanimously elected: C. C.
Hulet, president; C. D. Corpenlng,
secretary; W. F. Fruits, treasurer.
A committee to draft the consti
tution and by-lawa of the organiza
