tending to matters of business.

from Ashland yesterday and made a

Mrs. Lulu Hutchius who has been
north on a three weeks vacation,
returded home on Friday's stage.
Mrs. Hutchlns visited relatives all
along the line and as far north as
Seattle. Wash.
Mrs. Dr. Johnson " and little
daughter, accompanied by Mrs. Ad
die Walker spent Thursday at the
home of Mrs. Johnson's parenta Mr.
and Mrs. G. W. Miller on their
ranch near Modoc Point.
Milton Smith who has been In
Medford helping out In the home
office of the California Oregon Pow
er company for several weeks, has
returned home and resumed his
position In the local office.
Harry Goeller and children, ac
companied by Mrs. E. M. Wilson
drove to Medford yesterday. Mrs.
Goeller and Mrs. C. P. Mason will
arrive from Portland in Medford
today, and return home with Mr.
Goeller thla evening. Mrs. Goeller
and Mrs. Mason were delegates to
P. E. O. convention which convened
at Oregon City the first of the
week.

call of the Park Avenue Baptist
church, which Is known as the

in that church the principle of "in
