HAS YOUR STORE A WHICH IS PULLING A slogan will hold the atten tion when all else fails.. That has been found to be the case with business, with, political parlies and with nations. "An Empire Awakening," was adopted by- the Klamath county chamber of commerce as the. sbx--gan for the advertising propa ganda which was and" is being put out. The catch phrase drew attention and hasr 'been " quoted all over Oregon and in adjoin ing states. . -1 , r1- Merchants of Klamath Falls have slogans, nearly all of thean having some expression by which their peculiar business is known. "Let George Do Tt," cannot mean but one place of business and the store carrying that slogan is do ing more business today because of it than would be done other wise. "I Ain't Mad at Nobody." is another well . known slogan and, while when translated into cor rect grammar means ."I am mad at somebody," loses nothing In Its value thereby and no doubt has attracted business to the store that uses it. The slogan must be a terse statement to have value. A cer tain San Francisco store carries, "For the Stout ' Woman Who Cares," and that means a lot for the most of them care these days.
