Legion Commander Explains
Plan for Memorial ym
To lie Built Here
Teachers of the Klamath coun
ty high school were guests at
the forum luncheon of the cham
ber of commerce yesterday and
the main address by II. E. Getz,
commander of the American Leg
Ion post, was on the , Memorial
Gymnasium soon to be built,
thus making the luncheon a high
school affair. ,
The teachers were introduced
to those present by Principal F.
R. Bennett' who designated the
group as "his family."
' Miss Elolse McPherson, music
teacher, accompanied by Miss
Bettty Ramaby, gave a pleasing
vocal selection which called for
an encore.
Another entertainment num
ber which greatly pleased those
present was a .violin solo by
M'iss Catherine Walton accom
panied on the piano by Miss
Beatrice Walton, a second selec
tion being demanded oy tne
listeners.
Gets explained the Memorial
gymnasium plans in considerable
detail and was roundly applaud
ed as he finished, the idea seem
ing to be very popular with those
present.

Gary believed so implicitly In
his powdere for the lovelorn, his

and his powders of . invisibility
and other things that for five
years he sold them to people all
over the world.
He told customers ln Peru that
he was humanity's greatest bene
factor and after he saturated the
market in that country moved on
to Guatamala, Brazil, Cuba, Mex

He did a land office business in
the United States before he was
finally caught.
Gary is termed as the "most
notorious and clever swmaier on
the Pacific coaBt," by the state
board of medical examiners, who
analysed a number of his "pow.

"Ah, if I only had some of my

But the cops had been warned
and refused flat-footedly to do
