Sisters Of .Sacred J4eart Academy Jdonored At Annual Christmas Oea

Each year Sacred Heart
Academy Parent and Patrons
. sponsor a Christmas silver tea
honoring the sisters at the
academy. A beautiful red and
silver theme was used in the
school auditorium on Dec. 15
for the party. The tea and
punch tables were covered
with white cloths and red net
j which was caught at intervals
along the sides with sprays of
silvered greens and red baits.
' The centerpiece was an effec
tive arrangement of silvered
greens, red tapers and white
Madonna. Silver appoint-
,. ments completed the setting.
Shown in the picture
above is- the committee in
charge of arrangements. Left
to right are Mrs. Frank John
son, Mrs. Charles L. Johnston,
Mrs. Angelo Dover!, chairman,

During the afternoon a musical program was presented by singing and instrumental groups
of the academy. At right is one choral group, dressed in winter togs, that sang appropriate
