ployes to the Christmas Bureau. The money will buy toys
and clothing and other necessities to be distributed to
parents through the Christmas Store or for others in need
who might be overlooked during the holiday season,
Cavanaugh is administrator of the fund which goes to
athletic activities and certain charities. Jack Lyon, treas
urer of the Inter-Agency Council, which sponsors the
Christmas Bureau that clears requests and offers of help
to prevent duplication of effort.

dent Johnson's second visit to
New York City within 10 days
has once more set into motion
maximum security measures of
unprecedented proportions.
Johnson is scheduled to fly
here from. Washington next
Tuesday to address the United
Nations' General Assembly. The
President made a trip to New
York last Sunday to attend fu
neral services for the late New
York Senator Herbert H. Leh
man. V
It was the Chief Executive's
first trip to New York as Presi
dent. It came so soon after the
Nov. 22 assassination of Presi
dent Kennedy that security con
scious officials marshalled
more than fi.000 policemen, po
licewomen, FBI and Secret Serv
ice agents to protect Johnson.
Security was so tight that
even veteran newsmen at Idle
wild Airport, well known to lo
cal security officials, were
barred from the area where
Johnson's plane landed.
Similar precautions will be
taken for the Tuesday visit, ac
cording to an announcement
Friday by Deputy Police Com
missioner Walter Arm.
Johnson's visit to the city on
Sunday. Dec. 8 lasted less than
two hours. The planned trip
Tuesday also will be of
short duration with the .Presi
dent heading bock immediately
to Washington.

News sources have quoted
Belli as saying he would work
to have the trial moved from
Dallas and would seek Ruby's
release under bond.
"We think the Ruby case can
be tried in Dallas and he can
obtain a fair trial here." Wade
said. "We don't think this is a
bondable case because the law
provides that in no case where
the death penalty is proper pun
ishment can bail be made."
Belli said he would return to
Dallas next Friday from the
West Coast. It was reported
that he had $100,000 for bond
and some sources said a venue
change request was expected
then.
The murder trial is set for
Feb. 3, but there may be a pre
trial sanity hearing.
Wade will seek the death pen
alty on the murder with malice
charge.
Belli said his main defense
would be an insanity plea.
