Unitarians To Recognize
U.N. 'Human Rights Week'
Observance of the United Na
tions' "Human Ri$rts Week"
is planned Sunday, Dec. 8, at
the Unitarian Fellow s h i p of
Klamath Falls. iBen Kerns
will be the sticafcer at the 11
a.m. meeting in (he Unitarian
Universalis! Pine Grove Meet--inghouse.
- Kerns' background includes
work in post-war Europe for
United Nations Relief and Reha
bilitation. He has continued his
interest in the local community,
working actively in Great Deci
sions, the Unitaran Fellowship,
and the U.N. Club. He current
ly serves as president of the
U.N. group.
A trio of teen-age folk singers,
Ned Johnson, vocal and guitar;
Chris Dodge, soprano; and ltuss
ICrecklow, bass, will be musical
guests for the morning services.
Tlie three recently appeared on
the U.N. Club's "Ifmitr-nanny"
program.
A coffee hour will follow the
service. The public is invited.

Movie Showing
Slated By Zion
Rev. Nnrbcrt E. Dey has an
nounced that a new feature
length color movie will be
shown at Zion Lutheran Church
on Sunday evening, Dec. 8, he
ginning at 7 o'clock.
The movie, entitled "A I-clter
To Nancy," was produced by
The Lutheran Church - Missouri
Synod and made in full color
by Paramount Studios and
Family Films.
"A Letter To Nancy" con
cerns a 9-ycar-old Chinese girl
and is a story of Christian love
and faith. It was filmed for
the purpose of helping all the
congregations of The Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod, accord
ing to Ucv. Dey.
All Zion Lutheran members
and friends are invited to see
the 8(i-minute movie presenta
tion which will he of Interest
to children as well as adults.
Parish Bazaar Features Readied
For several months tlie mem
bers of St. 'Paul's Episcopal
Church have been preparing for
the annual All-Parish Bazaar
slated Saturday, Dec. 7. The
festivities will begin at 10 a.m.
with tlie opening of the bazaar
booths.
A wide variety of hems will
he offered for sale at each
booth, including glitter and gla
mour articles, needlework, and
dolls and toys. A special feature
will be the men's table where
handcrafts, used tools, and as
sorted household items will be
displayed.
In the food line, the Girls
Friendly Society is sponsoring a
candy booth and the AKar Guild
plans a cooked foods booth.
The Episcopal Young Church
men members are in charge of
the traditional carnival and en
tertainment for the children at
tending with their parents.
Two meals will be served in
conjunction with the all-day af
fair, an a la carte luncheon
from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and din
ner beginning at 6 p.m.
The dinner menu includes
roast beef, a jus; baked potatoes
with sour cream or butter; toss
ed green salad with choice of
dressing, cole slaw; French
bread; ice cream; coffee and
milk. Tlie price will be $1.50 lor
adurts, 75 cents for children, or
$5 for a family.
The public is invited to par
ticipate in all of the bazaar ac
tivities, according to the pastor.
