SOCIETY By Helen Bechen Herald and Newi November 17, 1963 . t - ' ' 11 73 i I A:'" V 'if, t I -Jr. The Klamath Community Symphony, .under the direc tion of Normand Poulihock, began work early thii fall in preparation for the first concert to be heard Dec. 3 at 8 . p.m. in Mills School Auditorium. Last spring's successful de but has added new members to the former AAUW-spon-sored string group. The December concert will be presented by a symphony orchestra of over 35 members, mostly volun teer adults in the Klamath area. They will play several parte of Tschailtovsky's Nutcracker Suite and the Overture to Mo zart's opera, Don Giovanni. Works by Biiet, Hindemith end . German will also be heard on the program.
