At Kingsley
Personnel at Kingsley Field'
and throughout the Air Defense
Command w ill pause this week
end to honor those aircrew
members who gave their lives
in the past year in maintaining
the air defense of the nation.
Kingsley Field will observe
regular services iji the Base
Chapel this Sunday. Nov. 10.
Father David J. Hazen w ill con
duct Catholic mass at 9 a m.
and Chaplain William A. Thor
escn will observe the Protestant
service at 11 a.m.
The 1963 observance will hon
or 36 A.PC aircrew members lost
in aircraft accidents. This in
cludes gightpcasuallies in Die
23th Air Division of which one
was assigned to Kingsley Field.
This was Capt. Harold H.
Smith, 322itd Fighter Intercep
tor Squadron, who died in an
aircaff acciotoit on Juno 17.
